On premise CRM is available in three different options to meet your company’s needs and can also be configured to allow users to access your CRM system through the internet. MBI sells “Open Business” and “Open Value” CRM, which provides the best prices and value to business users. “Open” licenses are perpetual, meaning that they do not expire when the assurance lapses.
Open Business comes standard with 2 years of Software Assurance.
Open Value provides 3 years of assurance and free physical media. Software assurance helps protect your organization’s software investment by providing the latest version of the software when it is updated as well as providing access to Microsoft technical support.
Open Value Annuity is the “pay as you go” option for Open Value. This version provides the 3 years of software assurance and allows you to pay for the software over 3 years
Dynamics Price List (DPL) is an option for existing Microsoft Dynamics GP, SL or NAV customers. This option provides the ability to leverage the included CRM server promotion. The pricing structure offered by the DPL is not beneficial for most customers. Please contact MBI to discuss the best option for purchasing CRM if you an existing Microsoft Dynamics customer.
For companies with more than 5 users, the CRM software is purchased in two parts: the program itself for the server and “Client Access License” or CAL that licenses each user. CRM is a “named user” application, meaning that each user needs to be licensed individually, but can access the application from different computers.
Microsoft’s WorkGroup CRM edition is the best choice for small businesses. The price includes the server license and allows up to 5 users.
Microsoft Professional CRM is the choice for single organizations of 6 to over 10,000 users.
Microsoft’s CRM Server can support multiple organizations using the same application. This is ideal for large companies and organizations with businesses that are run predominantly as separate entities and have separate customization requirements.
